A Winter Morning |
A winter morning in Bangladesh is
a unique experience. The whole country is blanketed in a thick fog, often
obscuring the sun until late morning. Dewdrops cling to blades of grass and
leaves, glistening like tiny pearls. The air is crisp and cold, making you want
to bundle up in warm clothes. People huddle around small fires, seeking warmth
and sharing stories. The scent of burning wood fills the air, mingling with the
aroma of freshly brewed tea and pithas being prepared in homes. Children can be
seen playing games, their laughter echoing through the misty air. Farmers
venture out to their fields, their breath visible in the cold air, to begin
their daily work. Life moves at a slower pace, with everyone taking time to
savor the simple pleasures of the season. The silence of the morning is
occasionally broken by the sounds of rickshaws and buses making their way
through the fog-laden streets. Although the cold can be biting, a winter
morning in Bangladesh is a beautiful and serene time, a reminder of the simple
joys of life.
